Every single time I hear my kids say Mom repeatedly I instantly think of Stewy from Family Guy. When does it end and honestly when will they shut up. Hey! I said it and I know a lot of you think it too so don’t start the mom shaming. Well not yet at least LOL Even if you do, well that’s on you and I hope it makes you feel better.
Some will say that motherhood is a hectic nonstop roller coaster of emotions, and they are right. Literally every minute of the day I notice the kids being so rambunctious and then calm little humans. Being a mom is not for the weak. Being a parent just in general is not for the weak but is honestly something I am thankful for. I have learned so much and I continue to learn more and more every day. I can write out a whole laundry list of things I have learned. To sum it all up, I have learned that teaching kids and being an example is also learning. As I was teaching my kids, I did a lot of self-reflection. How can I teach them to be a certain way and live a certain way if I myself wasn’t doing it? Kids aren’t robots, they learn from what they see and what they experience. Just like us, when we were kids. Being a parent is tough, we worry so much about being the adult and we forget what it was like to be a kid..
